Weighing in at just over 2 pounds, Dell’s sleek new flagship laptop is less than an inch thick and sports InfinityEdge technology. While that sounds impressive on its own, it doesn’t do justice to just how stunningly thin and light Dell has managed to make their new flagship laptop.

At first glance, you can easily mistake Dell’s latest notebook as just another one of its older products, but if you do a closer inspection and look closely at every tiny detail then you will quickly realize that there is so much more to it. The new Dell XPS 13 OLED seems to be built to last and is by far one of the most beautiful notebooks on today’s market.

While Apple’s new Mac lineup has received mixed reviews from critics, no one can deny that Apple’s new M1 chip is poised to put a dent in Intel’s market share. The Acer Swift 3 has a nice 14-inch Full HD display with a glossy finish that is great for multimedia, watching videos, and doing your everyday tasks. The screen’s bezels are very thin, which makes it a pleasure to hold in your hands and comfortable for typing on.

The MacBook Air’s LED-backlit glossy widescreen display is its standout feature. This 13.3-inch screen boasts an impressive resolution of 1440 x 900 pixels and looks gorgeous with vivid, bright colors and crisp details.

The keyboard isn’t a total disaster, but it certainly feels cheap. It flexes too much, and I found my fingers getting stuck between keys on more than one occasion. In typing tests, I hit 78 words per minute with a 1 percent error rate—right in line with my average on similar keyboards—but I had to press extra hard to get there.

The Acer Chromebook Spin 713 is a nice-looking, thin, and light laptop that is fairly well built. The aluminum lid and bottom are thick and sturdy. The rest of the chassis is made from plastic, but it has a nice feel to it. Weighing in at just 3 pounds (1.36 kg), it’s also quite portable for a 14-inch device; its thin bezels make it easy to hold as well.
