The design of an Alienware computer is one-of-a-kind. Many people buy it just because they love how it looks – after all, the style speaks for itself! But no matter what type of laptop you’re looking for, power will come at a cost: the weight will vary depending on which model you go with.

Widescreen displays are amazing and running in high definition. An addition 4K resolution is not supported yet – although this device will still run those flawlessly even when all the graphics settings are maxed out!

The Intel Core i7-8750H inside MSI’s newest gaming laptop is up to 40 percent faster than its predecessor and when coupled with Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card you have a setup ready for VR experiences. The MSI GE76 Raider also comes with a SteelSeries keyboard that offers per-key RGB backlighting, a six-inch 4K touchscreen display, and a 0.78 inch thin chassis.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon’s standout feature is its lightweight, coming in at 3.2 pounds and 0.7 inches thick. This makes it thinner than Apple’s 13-inch MacBook Pro and Microsoft’s Surface Book 2 (which weigh 3.02 pounds and 3.48 pounds, respectively). But like its competitors, it has an excellent touch screen that works with a stylus (included) to make tasks such as writing notes more comfortable.

In our computer battery rundown test, we disabled power management, enabled Wi-Fi, set the screen to full brightness, and looped an HD video until a laptop died or got too hot. Lenovo’s business notebook lasted 12 hours and 4 minutes; this is about average for a 14-inch machine.

The fabric rear case and keyboard cover are comfortable, but it’s the display that steals the show. It is stunningly beautiful with a Full HD 1,920-by-1,080 resolution that pops with rich colors and contrast. Plus, it’s an IPS screen so viewing angles are wide; it even doubles as a tablet by folding back all four corners of its 360-degree hinge.

In terms of hardware, one of my favorite things about this laptop is how durable it is. It has three ports – an audio combo jack, USB C, and another USB C; which really helps in protecting those parts from wear and tear when switching between modes. Furthermore, this device also comes with a military-grade durability rating to show how tough it really is.

The company behind the groundbreaking laptop has announced plans to release this new and improved version of the device. It will boast 10% faster-processing power, which means you can complete tasks quicker. Meanwhile, with a battery life of 30% longer than last year’s models – you’ll spend less time worrying about charging up.

One of our most notable complaints about last year’s model was how cumbersome it felt to use or handle. Thankfully, the newer 2018 version is now lighter and slimmer, becoming easier to operate. Not only does this make for a more comfortable experience but also opens up an opportunity for other features – which includes a built-in SD card slot! Photographers will find themselves relieved with this update; no longer do they need to trade off hard disk space on their laptops when loading up photos onto their devices.
