Lenovo ThinkPad X12 Detachable

Lenovo ThinkPad X12 2-in-1 Tablet PC with 12.3" FHD+ Touchscreen (400nits), 11th Gen Core i7-1160G7 Processor, Detachable Keyboard, Precision Pen, 16GB 4267MHz RAM, 512GB PCIe SSD, and Windows 10 Pro
  • This refurbished product is tested and certified to look and work like new. The refurbishing process includes functionality testing, basic cleaning, inspection, and repackaging. The product ships with all relevant accessories, and may arrive in a generic box
I’m going to go out on a limb and call the Lenovo ThinkPad X12 Detachable the Surface Pro 7+ killer, but in all seriousness, it’s going to give Microsoft and their OEM partners something to think about. I had the opportunity to test out the Lenovo ThinkPad X12 Detachable over the past week, and I am impressed with its design and form factor. Lenovo pulled out all the stops with this device, which I think will be well received by mobile professionals who are looking for ultimate portability without sacrificing productivity.

Lenovo has worked with Microsoft to develop a custom Windows 10 Enterprise operating system optimized for business. The Lenovo ThinkPad X12 Detachable is ready to work out of the box and works even better when paired with a docking station. Customers will also have access to a variety of apps from Microsoft including Office 365, Skype for Business, Cortana, Outlook, and OneDrive. Designed for flexibility and mobility with all-day battery life allowing users to get through long meetings or flights without charging.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X12 Detachable is a lightweight device with an impressively thin and light design. Lenovo achieves a thin and light form factor by using their kickstand which holds up one end of the tablet. The other end attaches to a keyboard dock.

Alienware x17 R2

Alienware Area 51M Gaming Laptop, 17.3" 300hz 3ms FHD Display, Intel Core i7-10700K, Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Super 8GB GDDR6, 1TB SSD, 16GB RAM, Lunar Light (AWARR2-7323WHT-PUS)

  • The world’s most powerful laptop just got an upgrade. With extraordinary desktop-level processing power, CPU and GPU upgradability, advanced cooling and a premium, revolutionary design.
First, you’ve got a new processor—the Intel 12th Gen Core i7-8750H hexacore chip. Alienware calls it an 8th Gen Extreme processor with Turbo Boost Speeds up to 4.1GHz. This is most definitely a beast, and that’s before we get to overclocking.

The design of an Alienware computer is iconic. It’s so recognizable that many consumers just want an Alienware computer because they like how it looks. That said, if you’re going to buy a gaming laptop, you probably want a powerhouse—and power comes at a price: weight.

The Alienware 17 R2 has a 17.3-inch, 1080p, 60Hz display. Not only is it gorgeous to look at and runs games beautifully, but it’s also touchscreen-enabled so you can use Windows 10’s touch features without reaching for an external tablet or laptop. And if you want to hook up multiple displays (4K isn’t supported) it’ll run those as well – with all graphics settings cranked up.

MSI GE76 Raider

  • 17.3" FHD (1920x1080), 300Hz 3ms, IPS-Level
  • 1920x1080
  • Core i7-10870H
The MSI GE76 Raider may be dressed in black and red, but don’t mistake it for a member of the Dark Side. Underneath its stealthy shell, this gaming laptop comes equipped with top-of-the-line hardware including Intel’s latest 8th Gen Coffee Lake CPU and NVIDIA’s mighty GTX 1070 graphics card which means that it can outperform many desktops while still offering you portability and playability on the go. Is there anything the GE76 Raider can’t do?

The MSI GE76 Raider display comes in at a 1920×1080 resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate and 5ms response time. All of that adds up to one of MSI’s best displays yet, making it perfect for gaming—especially if you have an NVIDIA graphics card. And no matter how serious your gaming addiction is, there’s enough RAM and storage here to meet your needs, or you can add in some upgrades.

The Intel Core i7-8750H inside MSI’s newest gaming laptop is up to 40 percent faster than its predecessor and when coupled with Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card you have a setup ready for VR experiences. The MSI GE76 Raider also comes with a SteelSeries keyboard that offers per-key RGB backlighting, a six-inch 4K touchscreen display, and a 0.78 inch thin chassis.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 7th Gen 14" FHD (1920x1080) Ultrabook - Intel Core i5-8265U Processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB PCIe-NVMe SSD, Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit
  • Intel Core i5-8265U Quad-core 1.60GHz (Up to 3.90GHz) Processor
  • 8GB DDR3 2133MHz RAM (8GB soldered), 256GB PCIe-NVMe SSD
  • 14" FHD (1920x1080) 400 nits, IPS, low power, anti-glare Display
  • Intel UHD Graphics 620, 720p HD Camera, Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, 1 Year Lenovo Warranty
  • Backlit Keyboard, Fingerprint Reader, HDMI, 2x Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C), 2x USB 3.1 Ports
While the original ThinkPad X1 Carbon was our favorite business laptop, the updated version shows why Lenovo continues to be the go-to company when it comes to business laptops. This new model has all of the same great features as its predecessor, but now boasts improved speakers, with a sleek carbon fiber texture and useful security features, such as a webcam shutter and infrared camera, the ThinkPad X1 Carbon is expensive compared to many other business laptops at $1,369. However, it comes with features that make it worth the cost.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon’s standout feature is its lightweight, coming in at 3.2 pounds and 0.7 inches thick. This makes it thinner than Apple’s 13-inch MacBook Pro and Microsoft’s Surface Book 2 (which weigh 3.02 pounds and 3.48 pounds, respectively). But like its competitors, it has an excellent touch screen that works with a stylus (included) to make tasks such as writing notes more comfortable.

In our battery rundown test, in which we disable power management, enable Wi-Fi, set the screen to half brightness, and loop an HD video until a computer dies (or it gets too hot), Lenovo’s business laptop lasted a strong 12 hours and 4 minutes. This is about average for a 14-inch machine.

Lenovo’s latest Chromebook, the Duet 5, offers more than just good looks and value. The laptop features a 13.3-inch 1920 x 1080 OLED display (for sharp text, vibrant colors, and deep blacks), an aluminum body (for reduced weight and resistance to nicks and scratches), 4GB of RAM (for better multitasking capability), and 32GB of storage (for storing your growing collection of movies, music, ebooks, and photos). Best of all, it starts at $449 – making it the best value of any Chromebook on the market today.

The fabric rear case and keyboard cover are comfortable, but it’s the display that steals the show. It is stunningly beautiful with a Full HD 1,920-by-1,080 resolution that pops with rich colors and contrast. Plus, it’s an IPS screen so viewing angles are wide; it even doubles as a tablet by folding back all four corners of its 360-degree hinge.

The keyboard cover is still one of my favorite features on Lenovo’s laptop. Like last year’s model, it protects your display when you’re on the go and turns into a work surface for your tablet mode. And speaking of protection, there are only three ports on the device: an audio combo jack, USB C, and another USB C. This help protect them from damage when using both modes. On top of that, it has a military-grade durability rating to prove its toughness.

Microsoft Surface Laptop 4

Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 15" Touch Screen - Intel Core i7 - 16GB - 512GB with Windows 11 (Latest Model) - Black
  • Power to do what you want with up to 70% more speed than before and an 11th Gen Intel Core processor.
  • Thin, light, elegant design in choice of two sizes: light, portable 13.5” or larger 15” that’s perfect for split-screen multitasking.
  • Show your best side on video calls with sharp video and image quality, even in low light, thanks to a front-facing 720p HD camera
  • Enjoy theater-like sound for movies and shows with Omnisonic Speakers backed by immersive Dolby Atmos6.
  • Be heard loud and clear on calls with dual far-field Studio Mics that capture your voice and reduce background noise.
For the most part, the Surface Laptop 4 offers only minor improvements over its predecessor, the Surface Laptop 3. However, this iteration does make up for some of the shortcomings of its predecessor, namely in terms of performance and battery life. The Surface Laptop 4 comes with Intel’s 8th-generation Core i5 and i7 processors, providing noticeable speed increases when compared to the 7th-generation chips used in the Surface Laptop 3. As expected, this also translated to better battery life; the newer model lasts longer on a single charge than its older sibling by two hours on average.

The Microsoft Surface Laptop was already an amazing machine, but The Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 made it even better. They improved its performance and battery life on it. Performance has been increased by 10 percent, while battery life is 30 percent longer than last year’s model.

One of our chief complaints with last year’s model was how uncomfortable it was to hold and use. The 2018 version is much lighter and thinner, making it less fatiguing to cradle. That extra space was put to good use as well: There’s a full-size SD card slot, so photographers will be happy to know they can load up their cameras without sacrificing storage on their laptops.

Conclusions

It’s really definitely important not to rush when you want to take a laptop for visually impaired. It is entirely important that you accept your epoch to research and ask questions. This is for that reason you don’t make some decisions that you will vanguard regret.
